Had a great couple of days targeting grayling and marble trout. Jure went out of his way to make the two days both successful and enjoyable. He made sure he knew what I was wanting to do and put together a number of rivers to make it happen.

We fished with Jure and Cotic Fly Fishing in and around the Lake Bled region for a nice mid-week day in late June. He put us on a ton of active fish right away and helped my fishing companion get the hang of euro-style, tight line casting and angling. We caught plenty of nice trout in 3 or 4 different spots with minimal traffic or pressure from other anglers. Jure even picked us up and delivered us home from our rental house so my family could use our car for the day. Jure was everything you want in a guide — clear, calm, a great conversationalist and a fantastic teacher. His gear was top notch (Hardy Bros from England) and knew the water we fished very well and was confident. This will go down as a super memorable trip within our family trip to Slovenia and when we return I'll likely book more days with Jure. A+ experience. Thank you Jure!

My wife and I recently honeymooned through Slovenia, and dedicated one day to fishing the Soča River for Marble and Rainbow trout. We booked Jure months in advance, and I’m so glad we did. Jure was a great communicator which helped us pack everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. Jure was also incredibly accommodating by offering to drive us from Ljubljana.
On the water, I had absolute confidence in Jure’s knowledge, judgement, and instructions. It didn’t take long until I was able to check off a bucket list species (Marble Trout). After that, the day only got better, with my wife landing a marble, and then both of us landing personal best trout. All of this on technical water, with fishing tactics completely new to us. Simply not possible without Jure. It felt like we spent the day fishing with a friend!
